Do you have experience of writing health information with clinicians and people living with health conditions? We’re looking for someone to write, research and edit our online health information for parents about children’s lung health.
Location: flexible, occasional visits to London EC1V
Salary: up to 50 days, daily rate to be agreed
Contract type: freelance. This project will run from April to the end of September 2019.

We’re looking for an experienced editor who has worked on health information, preferably following Information Standard principles. You will also be experienced writing for the web, and in following style guidelines.
The project is a review of our online children’s lung health information for parents, created in 2016. You’ll work with clinical reviewers to update it in the light of feedback from parents and paediatricians.
Reporting to our editor, you will collate the feedback and use it to brief expert clinicians to improve the existing content. You will ensure all copy is referenced and all work is filed electronically. You will also work with parents to create case studies and sign off copy.
