Hospital fundraising challenge
Thank you so much to all of the amazing respiratory teams who took part in this year's Hospital Fundraising Challenge!
We saw some truly amazing activities, from paragliding to a 'onesie' day at work. All of our teams did an outstanding job, and together we're delighted to say they've raised over £10,000 for us.
So, (drumroll please), we are thrilled to announce the winners of the following Hospital Challenge awards....
The winners of the Hospital Fundraising Challenge
- Fundraising champions: Bay Breathers from Royal Lancaster Infirmary
- Most original fundraising event: Too Posh to Puff from Royal Brompton Hospital for their 'Onesie Day'
- Best teamwork: Harrogate Huffers from Harrogate Hospital
- Most adventurous: Chesty Angels from Nevill Hall Hospital for their sponsored paraglide
All of the winners were announced at the BLF Scientific Research event at the BTS conference in December 2015.
Thanks once again to everyone who took part. We truly appreciate your support and the funds you've raised will make a huge difference to our vital work.

About the Hospital Fundraising Challenge
The Hospital Fundraising Challenge is when teams compete against each other across the UK to see who can raise the most money to fight lung disease.
In 2015, it ran from from 1 May – 1 November. In December at the BTS Conference, we crowned our BLF Fundraising Champions. We also handed out lots of other awards, including most original fundraising event, best teamwork and most adventurous.
