Financial controller

We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong charity experience to join our busy finance team to provide timely and accurate financial information.

Our finance team is core to everything we do. We are looking for an enthusiastic finance professional who wants to work in an environment where ideas and enthusiasm are encouraged. We want someone who explains complex issues in everyday language and can relate “the numbers” to the services we deliver.

You will be responsible for producing financial and management accounts, budgets and forecasts. You will make sure that income is correctly accounted for and that staff and suppliers are paid on time. You will need to work with teams across the charity and regularly meet with our Finance Committee, auditors and advisors. Just as importantly, you will continually improve business processes and develop and mentor a small team.
