Running your Breathe Easy group

Breathe Easy group activities

Breathe Easy groups provide support and information for people living with a lung condition, and for those who look after them.

You can do this by holding regular meetings, usually monthly. The key focus is for people to meet and talk to others, share their experiences, and learn from each other.

Having regular speakers also gives people in your group information and guidance on living with a lung condition, and how to cope with the emotional aspects.

You can also raise awareness locally about lung disease, your group, and the British Lung Foundation.

Although there are some basic charity and financial regulations to follow, keeping things as simple as possible makes running the group more enjoyable.
