Your group's web page
Every Breathe Easy group has it's own page on our website.
Your page includes the most important details about your group, such as when and where you meet and how to get in touch with you. It also includes a map showing where you meet.
You can upload photos and upcoming events to your page, if you like.
This section explains how you can:
Photos are a great way to shout about the great things your group has been up to. You might like to upload photos of your:
- group meetings
- awareness events
- trips out
- exercise or singing classes
You should only add 1 photo from a particular event or meeting. This means your photo gallery shows a variety of different photos, which is more interesting for visitors.
Once you're logged in, use the button below to go to our upload form.
Adding upcoming events to your group's page lets current members know what's coming up, and shows potential new members the sort of things you get up to.
You might like to promote things like:
- Awareness events
- Trips and days out
The event will disappear from your page automatically after the event, so it will only show what's coming up.
Once you're logged in, use the button below to go to our form. You might want to add this page to your browser's favourites if you're adding events regularly.
You can update the following details on your Breathe Easy group page:
- Where you meet
- When you meet
- What time you meet
- Contact telephone number
- Contact email address
- Map location
Get in touch with your group support officer to update these details.
You can also add some text explaining what makes your group special. Get in touch with your group support officer for advice on doing this.
It's important that this is only a couple of short sentences, to make sure we keep the attention of the reader. Some of our favourite examples are:
"We're a friendly group and welcome new members. Our talks will help you learn new ways of helping yourself - and afterwards we have refreshments when you can get to know other people and make new friends."
"We're a very active and supportive group that will go out of our way to make you feel welcome. Our meetings are usually attended by a community nurse who will be only too pleased to answer any queries you may have. We look forward to meeting you!"
