Eosinophillic lung conditions

Eosinophils are white blood cells that are typically associated with allergy.

In rare cases, there is a build-up of eosinophils in the air spaces and tissue of the lungs. Sometimes this is due to an allergic condition – such as parasites, a hypersensitive allergic reaction or a reaction to some drugs – but it isn’t always possible to work out the cause.
