Helen summarises three research studies that were published at the American Thoracic Society Conference, May 2014. She discusses the following drug treatments: acetylcysteine, pirfenidone and nintedanib.

In the film you may hear Helen speak about FVC. This means forced vital capacity, which is the amount of air you blow out in one breath. She also mentions DLco which is a test that measures how well the lungs diffuse gases.
