Lung tumours in children

Lung cysts and tumours in children are rare. There are a range of different types and these may be identified during a chest X-ray or CT scan.

If the tumours are benign and are not causing any problems, they may not need any treatment immediately. If they are cancerous or causing problems with breathing, your child may need chemotherapy, radiation treatment or surgery.
