What are the events about?
We will be running a series of events discussing toxic air in your area and also at a national level. Come along and hear from leading helath experts and campaigners about air pollution and how you can make a difference.
Manchester clean air champions workshop – 18th September
Where: Bright Building, Mi-IDEA, Manchester Science Park, Pencroft Way, Manchester, M15 6AY
When: Wednesday 18 September, 5pm - 8pm
Come and join us on 18 September to learn more about toxic air in Greater Manchester and what you can do as a health care professional to change this. During the event you will hear from leading health experts and campaigners about this public health crisis.
In small groups, you will be supported to design campaign actions you can take forward to improve air pollution nationally and locally. Whether it be talking to your employer or your MP, or marching on the streets of Manchester – we will be exploring all these possibilities and many more! You’ll also learn more about the clinical guidelines on air pollution and the information you need to talk about toxic air with your patients and communities.
