After your fundraising event
Well done! The hard work is over so make sure you give yourself plenty of time to relax!
There are just a couple of things to do now to make sure you get the most out of your event.
Make sure to thank everyone who was involved and let them know how much you’ve raised. They’ll really appreciate it.
A surprising number of donations are received after the event has finished. So thanking everybody could prompt anyone who still hasn’t donated to do so

How did your fundraising go? We love to hear from you, so send us your photos and stories.
If you let us know what went well, we can pass on your ideas and tips to other people who are fundraising for us. That way, you’ll be helping to raise even more after your event is over.
Pay in your money
The money you’ve raised from your online fundraising page will head to us automatically, so you can sit back and relax.
There are a couple of ways for you to send us any money you’ve raised offline:
- Send a cheque payable to ‘British Lung Foundation’ to Events team, British Lung Foundation, 73-75 Goswell Road, London EC1V 7ER
- Transfer the funds to our bank account. Get in touch for the details.
- Or you can give us a call on 0207 078 7912 and make a card payment.
If you’re doing a sponsored event, we can claim gift aid for an extra 25% on any eligible donations so no matter how you pay your money in, please send your sponsor forms to our address.
