Description

Times Wellness presents Healing chants and Mantras - Healing Mantras or slokas mentioned in the Vedas and Upanishads, and music therapy that has been a time-honoured remedy isn't new to the Indian. Where the collection gains strength is in their amalgam of mantras and ragas, both potent forces that could address the affected for the desired results. Mantras can heighten the creative energies of Indian ragas in a scientific rendition and the introduction of Western symphony and orchestration in the background also adds a new dimension to the healing aura. When one listens to the way the mantras flow, you know for sure that research with texts, pronunciation, thought on repetitions, fine tuning of rhythm, notes and tempo have all been given importance. The "Healing Mantras of the Heart", for example, includes a Vedic Richa from the Atharva Veda called Hridrog meant to benefit people with heart trouble. Composed in raag Bhoop, and sung by Sanjeev Abhyankar, the tempo is slow and is sung in Dhrupad style prescribed to bring tranquillity. We would love for you to rate us positively on the App store please.
