Where we’re based

Our head office is located in the heart of Clerkenwell, London, just 10 minutes’ walk from Angel, Farringdon, Barbican and Old Street stations. We also have offices in Scotland and Wales to support the organisation across the UK. Last but certainly not least, Liverpool is the home of our helpline office, where our team of specialist nurses and advisors offer life-changing support to thousands of callers each year.

Head of press and campaigns

Location: London, EC1V 7ER
Full time/Part time: Full-time, 36 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy press and campaigns team. We need an experienced senior communications professional with a strategic mind and expert media handling skills to ensure our campaigns hit the mark. You’ll lead on strategic planning to make sure our work is coordinated so we make the maximum impact in enhancing the reputation of the BLF and creating buzz around key programmes.

Policy and public affairs officer (Scotland)

Location: Glasgow, G2
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Closing date: 9.00am on 24 August 2018
Interview date: 5 September 2018 at our BLF office in Glasgow

Working closely with the Head of Devolved Nations and Communications Officer, you will be responsible for engaging with politicians, responding to consultations and looking for opportunities to raise awareness of the challenges that people living with lung conditions face. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the Scottish Parliament or Scottish Government and of developing policies and campaigns.
