After a fantastic Christmas, I've certainly noticed the empty chocolate wrappers and mince pie boxes stacking up - and I'm sure I'm not the only one who’s over-indulged this festive season!

The New Year is the ideal time to start thinking about getting active for 2015. To make sure you stay motivated past January, why not sign up to a fundraising charity challenge for us? Your healthy habits can help lead the fight against lung disease.

Cycle to Paris

London to Paris bike ride - Eiffel Tower

London to Paris bike ride, 10-14 June 2015

With four days cycling, a day to explore "Le Gay Paris" and an iconic Eiffel Tower finish, the classic London to Paris cycle challenge is the perfect way to motivate yourself towards fitness!

All your transport, accommodation and most of your meals will be covered for the trip. We’ll also send out a welcome pack including a fundraising guide, a BLF cycling jersey and access to our online training zone to help get you in top shape before the ride. Climb a mountain

Ben Nevis trek, 26-28 June 2015

Join us to take on the UK’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. This amazing challenge totals just over 9 miles and gives you the chance to take in some amazing views of Scotland’s finest scenery.

You’ll be supported by our dedicated events team in the lead up to the trek and on the day you’ll have some great challenge leaders with you. Want to make sure your good intentions last the whole year? Why not follow in the footsteps of BLF supporter Hannah Smith, who took on 12 running challenges during 2014 for the BLF? Over the year, she took part in races from a 2 mile relay to a half marathon and committed to running an amazing 100k throughout December!

Let me know about your 2015 running challenge and I’ll send you a fundraising pack including a t-shirt or running vest, sponsor forms and a link to our online training zone. Our team will also offer plenty of support along the way. Run for the BLF

Cycling RideLondon for the BLF

Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, 5 August 2015

This is the biggest closed-road bike ride in the UK and will welcome over 25,000 cyclists to the roads of London and Surrey.  It's one of the first Olympic Legacy events, following the amazing Olympic Road Race Route for 100 miles all the way from Stratford to a spectacular finish on The Mall.

As well as regular support from our events team, we’ll send out a welcome pack, access to our online training zone, a BLF cycling jersey and we'll even be there on the day to cheer you round the route - and congratulate you at the finish! Get on your bike for RideLondon
