Love your lungs week
Join us for our annual awareness event in June, focusing on lung health.
This year, from 17-23 June, we're making a big noise about lung health. Will you help us let people know that getting short of breath is something they may need to talk to their doctor about? Will you share our online breath test?
Let's encourage people to love their lungs and raise awareness of lung conditions this June.
Building on the success of Breathe Easy week in previous years, this time we’re planning to make our national lung health awareness week even more ambitious.
Over half a million people have now taken the test to see if their breathlessness is something they need to get checked out, and we know many people have taken action as a result. And some have got a diagnosis for the first time.
I wish I'd acted sooner when I got a persistent cough
Andy wishes he'd seen the signs and gone to the doctor earlier.
Living better with breathlessness
Researchers Ann and Miriam want everyone to know that it is possible to live well with chronic breathlessness.
As a younger person with COPD I feel like an outsider
Tracy put her breathlessness down to post-baby weight and tiredness. She then found she had COPD and asthma.
