Living Well Alliance
We’re bringing together companies who offer treatments, devices or products that support people to manage their lung conditions.
1 in 5 people in the UK has developed asthma, COPD or another long-term lung condition. While the majority of the 40 lung conditions known to us are not curable, the symptoms can be managed and quality of life can be improved.
All Living Well Alliance members have made a donation to us, and are working with us to improve the lives of people living with lung conditions.

We spend 90% of our time indoors, where concentrations of some air pollutants can be up to five times worse than outside. Airthings imagines a world where individuals can visualise the invisible pollutants in their air to prevent illness, increase productivity and keep loved ones safe.
Established in 2008, Airthings is a Norway-based tech company that develops and manufactures products to easily monitor indoor air contaminants and identify radon levels in the air. Airthings’ mission is to ensure that people around the world take control of their Indoor air quality through simple, affordable and accurate technology solutions.
Airthings’ air quality monitors measure levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), carbon dioxide and radon indoors. The monitors also show the humidity, temperatures and pressure. With this information, people can take steps to improve the air quality in their homes.
Visit the Airthings website for more information on their radon and indoor air quality monitoring products.
Tonik Energy is a renewable energy company that wants to do more than simply supply clean, affordable gas and electricity. By accelerating the uptake of microgeneration, battery storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, we plan to halve our customer’s bills by 2022, putting the consumer in control of how they generate, store and use energy. We believe it is entirely possible for the customer to save money and be good to the planet without compromising on home comforts.
Tonik energy aims to halve their member’s energy bills by enabling them to reduce their overall grid consumption and make the transition to local and community generation. Tonik makes money through the traditional sale of gas and electricity, and in the sale, installation, and support of local micro-generation solutions. Tonik will use energy generated locally by members to lower the home energy bill, and provide services back to the energy grid that generates revenues both for Tonik and the member. By offering flexibility back to the grid Tonik can monetise the relationship with both the national grid and the end user – in doing so lowering both bills and carbon emissions.
The best thing of all is that we donate £50 to the BLF every time someone switches and quotes the charity as the source.

Pharmacy2U is the UK's largest online pharmacy, helping over 270,000 patients each year with their NHS repeat prescriptions.*
Established in 1999, Pharmacy2U worked closely with the NHS to help pioneer the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) to improve patient care. They manage the repeat prescription needs of patients registered with GP’s in England and are regulated in the same way as traditional pharmacies.
How it works
- Register* with Pharmacy2U and tell them what medication you need
- Prescriptions are approved by your GP and sent electronically to Pharmacy2U
- Their team of UK based pharmacists check and dispense your medication
- They deliver your medication for free, using Royal Mail to an address that suits you and will remind you when it’s time to re-order
*Register on their app, website or phone 0113 265 0222
*Information provided by the NHS Business Services Authority. NHS repeat prescription service only available to patients registered with a GP in England and if your surgery needs you to order directly, Pharmacy2U will tell you how to do this
Pharmacy2U offers a new kind of pharmacy experience which saves our patients time and money, giving them more time to spend on other things. Our services can be of benefit to anyone on repeat prescriptions, including patients with reduced mobility, busy lifestyles or those with limited access to traditional pharmacies.
