Living Well Alliance

We’re bringing together companies who offer treatments, devices or products that support people to manage their lung conditions.

1 in 5 people in the UK has developed asthma, COPD or another long-term lung condition. While the majority of the 40 lung conditions known to us are not curable, the symptoms can be managed and quality of life can be improved.

All Living Well Alliance members have made a donation to us, and are working with us to improve the lives of people living with lung conditions.

Airlite

Airlite logo

Imagine a world with clean, uncontaminated air just like nature intended. This is Airlite’s vision and the company has produced a paint that turns walls into a natural air purifier. Applying Airlite on a surface of 100m2 reduces air pollution as effectively as an area of 100m2 planted with mature trees. Find out more.

Pure air, healthy world. Airlite is the 100% natural, revolutionary paint technology that can be applied to any surface to improve air quality. Activated by light, Airlite eliminates major airborne pollutants (including nitrate oxides, formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, dichloromethane, benzene) prevents the growth of bacteria and moulds, eliminates bad odours and prevents dirt and dust from attaching to walls.

How Airlite cleans the air - Airlite is activated on the surface where it is applied. Air circulation then delivers these benefits to the whole environment, generating and diffusing clean air all around us. Airlite is wellness within everyone’s reach.

The benefits of Airlite - Reduces up to 88.8% of air pollution, eliminates 99.9% of bacteria, neutralises odours, eliminates and prevents mould, cuts cooling costs, repels dust and airborne dirt and VOC free.

Airlite is a subsidiary of AM Technology Ltd whose aim is to provide an effective solution to air pollution both inside and outside the home.

Pharmacy2U – Your NHS repeat prescriptions, taken care of

V-TUF logo

Pharmacy2U is the UK’s largest online pharmacy, helping over 150,000 patients in England to manage their NHS repeat prescriptions.

Established in 1999, Pharmacy2U worked closely with the NHS to help pioneer the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). They manage the repeat prescription needs of patients registered with GP’s in England and are regulated in exactly the same way as traditional pharmacies.

How it works

The Pharmacy2U NHS repeat prescription service helps patients to manage their medication:

  • Register with Pharmacy2U and tell them what medication you need
  • Prescriptions are approved by your GP and sent electronically to Pharmacy2U
  • Their team of UK based pharmacists check and dispense your medication
  • They deliver for free using Royal Mail and remind you when it’s time to re-order

Helping you and the NHS

43% of the UK population currently receive repeat prescriptions, costing the NHS £8 billion each year*. With an ageing population, this trend is set to continue. Managing your repeat prescriptions online could help save GPs over 6.5 hours a week and could save the NHS over £300 million a year on prescription costs*.
