Scottish general election: standing up for Scotland's lungs

At some point in our lives, 1 in 5 of us will have a lung disease. Across the UK, millions more are at risk. As the only UK charity looking after the lungs of Scotland, here's what will make the biggest difference to people living with lung conditions.

To improve lives, we need to do 4 things:

There are simple things we can do. And you can pledge to do some of those things below.

Pledge 1: prevent it

The next Scottish Government must roll out Low Emission Zones across Scotland

Pledge 2: diagnose it

The next Scottish government needs to deliver a national programme for lung screening across Scotland

Pledge 3: treat it

Additional funding is needed to support the implementation of the Respiratory Care Action Plan for Scotland, protecting and improving lung health across Scotland

Pledge 4: live better with it

Everyone living with COPD, bronchiectasis and IPF should have the right to pulmonary rehabilitation
